Acier Solac inc. was founded in 1967 and quickly became the main representative and distributor of the European steel industry’s flagships in Canada.

In 1991, Acier Solac becomes Trading Solac and specializes in high strength treated steels for Oil & Gas applications in Western Canada. In partnership with NobelClad, it is also developing the distribution of electrical transition joints used in the electrolytic cells of North American aluminum smelters.

Expertise and development

Since 2006, the company has focused on developing its activities in the primary aluminum industry and has used its expertise in this field to expand its product line by offering quality and a perfect service.
